Docents are so important to Chestnut Square…they allow us to communicate the history of Collin County through regularly scheduled guided tours and tours for school children and other groups.   Chestnut Square docents are trained to present the history of The Heritage Guild of Collin County, the founders of Chestnut Square Historic Village, the structures and grounds at Chestnut Square and how people lived in Collin County from 1850-1920.
